I can't speak French so good so I will continue in English if it's ok

Me and my friend we have launched a service for domainers - Expiring Words - www.expiringwords.com. It is a site which shows a list of .com .net .info, .org, .tv ... domains expiring in one week and which are represented by words from international word dictionaries (French is ofcourse also included - here).

Do you think that Expiring Words is useful for you? Are French domainers interested about another than .fr domains for their French websites? I will be very happy for any comments and feedback.

To my opinion, .fr is not as good as .com, There are less than 2 million .fr domain names, which is probably one of the lowest ratio for OECD countries, when compared with population.
your tool seems very nice. Maybe some adjustments could me made, as about a fourth of the French domains you list do not have any meaning in French.

Ahoj Davide, the fact that French like more .com than .fr is for me total surprise. Yes Czechs like .cz much more than .com

You are right with the dictionaries. For now that our French dictionary has around 500.000 words and there are less used words or totally not French words. We will work on that.

.fr names are selling well, but they imply a limitation to the French market. The border in the internet are linguistic, not geographic. On the contrary to your market, where Czech is (almost) only spoken in the CR, French is spoken in several other countries. Thus Telecharger.com (= download) is better than Telecharger.fr
